IMPORTANT NOTICE: GiftElan.org is a free educational platform. Currently, we do not charge fees for any content or services. This refund policy addresses potential future scenarios should we introduce paid services.
1. Free Educational Resources
All current content on GiftElan.org is provided free of charge. Users have unlimited access to our educational resources about gift cards without any payment requirements or subscription fees.
2. No Gift Card Sales
GiftElan.org does NOT sell gift cards or process any transactions related to gift cards. We are an educational information website only. For gift card purchases or refund requests related to specific gift cards, you must contact the retailer or issuer directly.
3. Future Premium Services
In the event that GiftElan.org introduces premium content, paid subscriptions, or other fee-based services in the future, the following refund policy would apply:
3.1 Subscription Services
For any future subscription-based services:
- Monthly subscriptions: Refunds may be requested within 7 days of purchase
- Annual subscriptions: Refunds may be requested within 30 days of purchase
- Partial refunds may be offered for unused portions at our discretion
- Canceled subscriptions remain active until the end of the current billing period
3.2 One-Time Purchases
For any future one-time purchases (e.g., downloadable guides):
- Refunds may be requested within 14 days of purchase
- Products that have been fully downloaded or accessed may only be refunded if demonstrably defective
- Digital products delivered as described are generally non-refundable
4. Refund Process
If we introduce paid services and you are eligible for a refund:

- Transactions would be processed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) or US Dollars (USD)
- Refunds would be issued in the original currency of payment

8. Gift Card Refunds
Since GiftElan.org does not sell gift cards, we cannot process refunds for gift cards. For refund requests related to gift cards you have purchased:

- Review the retailer's specific refund and return policy
- Keep your purchase receipt as proof
- Many retailers have specific policies regarding gift card refunds
